This week’s Dragon Quest adventure takes us to finding the Ultimate Key and eventually we collect the Lyre of Ire. Along the way, the Fairies are attacked by monsters, and we experience the loss of an important character.

Dragon Quest holds a special place in my heart. My first time playing Dragon Quest 1 & 2 (aka Dragon Warrior) was on the GameBoy Color Christmas Day, 2000, at my grandmother's house. Nine year old me was instantly hooked as soon as the music for the title screen started up, pulling me into the charming world and whimsical art style Akira Toriyama designed. Even though this was all on the GameBoy at the time, I still hold other RPG's to DQ's standards in terms of leaving a lasting impact.
