Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Advent Air Black Low Profile 13,500 BTU RV Air Conditioner System. Now this low profile air conditioner unit is gonna let you replace, upgrade, or add a new air conditioner to your RV or camper. And this system includes an air distribution box with a thermostat and a start capacitor. Now the low profile design of this air conditioner is designed to minimize wind resistance to improve your fuel efficiency, and it's also going to provide additional overhead clearance for you. This 13,500 BTU per hour air conditioner is going to quickly and efficiently cool down the inside of your RV or camper.

And this is going to be compatible with your ducted or ductless systems. And this is gonna be a bolt-on installation with the included hardware that you see there on that corner of my table. So this is gonna be great for your motor homes, your travel trailers, and your fifth wheels. However, I do want you to be aware of the fact that this has not been approved for use on school buses, food trucks, enclosed utility trailers, or off-roading vehicles, just so you're aware of that. This air conditioner is gonna fit roofs from two and a half inches to five inches thick with an opening size of 14 and a quarter inches long and 14 and a quarter inches wide.

And lemme go over some overall measurements of the unit itself just so you have a good idea of the size. Measuring front to back, we're sitting at about 31 inches long. The overall height, we're sitting at about 10 and one eighth inches tall. And then the overall width, we're sitting right at about 24 and 15/16th inches wide. And the unit weighs just a little under 70 pounds.

Now I'm gonna go ahead and remove the cover. I went ahead and removed the screws before our time together just to make it a little bit easier and quicker to remove this cover. I do want to give you a view of the inside and you see a little bit of it from that angle. But let me go ahead and give you an overhead view just so you have a better view. This air conditioner features a fan blade with a three-speed motor that's going to give you ample air flow at 500 cubic feet per minute.

And this also features a condensation dispersion system, which is going to increase the cooling efficiency by managing moisture to prevent water runoff. So hopefully you have a nice view of the inside of our unit. And then I'm gonna go ahead and replace our cover. And while I do that, I wanna let you know that this cover is constructed of a nice, thick piece of plastic. And so I think it's going to do a great job of protecting this unit. The insides of the unit from debris and water and things like that. It's one of the thicker RV air-conditioner covers that I have come across. I think it's going to be long lasting. I think it's gonna be very durable and I think it's gonna hold up really well. This is going to be very easy to remove and replace, as you've already seen. You're just going to have to remove the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver and then you'll just take the cover off, in case you need to do any maintenance or you want to clean the inside of it. And then once you have the cover back on, just replace the screws and tighten them down. And the cover has a nice, tight, secure fit on the unit itself. At the base here we have this frame that's constructed of rigid metal, so it's a very durable frame that the air conditioner has here at the base. And speaking of the base, we also have thick foam support pads that you're not gonna be able to see, but they are under there. And those foam pads are going to support this air conditioner on top of your RV roof. And so it's also, those pads are also going to help reduce noise after you have this installed. And then I would like to take a closer look at this side of my table here just to go over the components that's included with this kit. So we have our air distribution box and we have adjustable registers here at the top and the bottom so you can direct the air in whichever way is gonna be best for you. And then we have our built-in thermostat here so we can control the level of coldness that we want and that our fan speeds can be adjusted here with this dial. And then we have our air filter here, which pull back this panel, it can be removed and cleaned to make sure that your fan blade is alw
