Home remedies are popular for their ease of procurement and inexpensive price.

✅For acne
✔️Honey : it has antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties. It can help in reducing redness associated with acne. Apply a thin layer on acne 2-3 times a week.
❌Apple cider vinegar : though a popular remedy, it can be too harsh in the face. It can cause superficial burns as well and should be avoided.

✅For tanning
✔️Tomato: it contains lycopene which has antioxidant properties. It also contains betacarotene, letting, vitamin C and vitamin E. can run a put tomato on the affected area. Leave it on for 10-15 mins and wash off with cool water.
❌Lemon : this can be very irritating in the skin. Lemon also increase photosensitivity and makes skin more prone to develop darkening on exposure to sun.

✅Oily skin
✔️Multani mitti: A face mask with Multani mitti or bentonite clay can be effective in temporarily reducing oiliness in the face. Use 4 teaspoonful and mix with plain water or rose water to make a paste. Wash it off after 15 mins.
❌Besan : best to avoid physical scrubs on the face. Besan works for very oily skin but not for normal, dry or sensitive skin. The particles may be too gritty and can cause irritation.

✅Body scrub
✔️Besan : this is better suited for body than the face. Though skin on the body also doesn’t require physical scrubs, people may prefer to use it once a week to expose smoother softer skin.
❌walnut scrubs: the particles are too gritty and harsh even for body skin. Avoid this.
