My Daily Practice Routine for Stammering | Day 4 on youtube Videos
Welcome to Day 4 of my daily practice routine for stammering. This video marks the beginning of my journey toward improving my speech fluency, confidence, and overall communication skills. Stammering is something many people struggle with, and through this series, I want to share my practice routine, progress, and real experiences so others can learn, relate, and feel motivated.
In today’s video, I focused on basic but very important speech exercises that help relax the body, control breathing, and improve clarity while speaking. These exercises are especially useful for beginners or anyone who wants to restart their speech practice routine from the basics.
🔹 Breathing Exercises
I started with breathing exercises to calm my mind and body. Proper breathing plays a huge role in speech fluency. These exercises help reduce anxiety, improve airflow, and prepare the vocal system before speaking. Controlled breathing also helps in maintaining a steady speech rhythm and reduces blocks while talking.
🔹 Vowel Exercises
Next, I practiced vowel sounds slowly and clearly. Vowel exercises help strengthen voice control, improve pronunciation, and build awareness of sound production. Speaking vowels calmly and confidently is an essential step for smoother speech.
🔹 Tongue & Lips Exercises
After that, I did tongue and lips exercises to improve muscle flexibility and coordination. These exercises help in better articulation and clarity. Strong and flexible speech muscles make it easier to pronounce words smoothly and reduce tension while speaking.
🔹 Tongue Twisters
Tongue twisters are challenging but very effective. They help improve speech control, focus, and fluency. I practiced them slowly instead of rushing, because accuracy and calmness matter more than speed. Over time, this practice helps reduce hesitation and improves confidence.
🔹 Story Reading (8–10 Minutes)
Finally, I spent 8–10 minutes reading a story aloud. Reading aloud helps in maintaining flow, practicing pauses, and building confidence while speaking continuously. It also helps train the brain to speak without fear or overthinking.
This is Day 1, and my goal is consistency, not perfection. Progress takes time, patience, and daily effort. If you are also dealing with stammering or speech anxiety, remember that you are not alone. Small daily steps can lead to big improvements.
