The Kerala women Commission has registered a case against the officials who conducted the NEET UG examination at the Mar Thoma Institute of Information Technology (MIIT) in Kollam, Kerala. An extremely invasive procedure was used where the female students were only allowed to enter the examination hall after they were asked to remove their innerwares. Several female students complained against this extremely invasive procedure that they said had violated the right to privacy. This evoked a massive outrage in different parts of the country. Various student organizations have been holding protests outside MIIT. Strict actions are demanded against the officials.
