1934 RKO Studio Orchestra - Carioca

Описание к видео 1934 RKO Studio Orchestra - Carioca

Long before the commercial release of movie soundtrack recordings was to become commonplace, we have Max Steiner conducting a portion of the original music track created for the famed “Carioca” dance sequence in “Flying Down To Rio.” The sounds of dancing feet, though added to the final audio of the released film, were not included on this music-only 78rpm. On the flip side of this 78 is "Raftero" with Nat Finston conducting the Paramount Studio Orchestra (    • 1934 Nat Finston & the Paramount Stud...   ).

From 78rpm Victor 24515 - Carioca (Youmans) by the RKO Studio Orchestra, conducted by Max Steiner, recorded in Camden NJ January 10, 1934 .
