Pierce County Clerk "Madam" Constance White has to go - she refuses to be accountable to the electorate, hides from citizens, offices in "another" building other than the clerk's office (aka doesn't show up to work), and is impossible for the people (taxpayers) to recall her. Pierce County's charter is in direct conflict with the WA State Constitution; this DEI hire from out of state has to go. If she was doing her job, that would be another story, she's not. She's a DEI figurehead who is not doing her job, she's an at-will employee whom I hope County Executive Ryan Mello will terminate, or alliteratively, a county council resolution passes like this one: https://www.scribd.com/document/82359...
There is no hope for Pierce County. DEI has gotten in the way, so has drugs, homelessness, handouts (like the one Constance White gets), my concerns fall on deaf ears to those who don't care about its people and for Constance White to be a black figurehead cashing in her check every two weeks for the appearance of fairness - nothing could be the opposite.
