Sly 1 - A Strange Reunion (Remaster/Remix By VGA Guy)

This is it, what 6 months of work has built up to. This was a ton of fun to redo, probably my favorite out of them all, and I did a bunch of stuff with this track. My favorite was probably adding a callback to Paris' music, signaling to the player that everything you've done since Paris has been for this moment. Hopefully I delivered that message well enough. I also added a new section, meant to be for when you're platforming to get to Clockwerk's head. In order to time the whole thing to the fight you have to delay the ring section by 1.5 phases and take a decent amount of time on the platforming part, but you can get it to line up. I also use my custom Guitorgan sample in here as well, though not very heavily.

I want to thank Sucker Punch for making such an awesome trilogy, and helping make my childhood that much better. I especially want to thank Ashif Hakik for making Sly 1's amazing soundtrack, and for entertaining my many questions. He was a big inspiration for me, and I hope he enjoys these if he does indeed see them.

And thank you everyone for listening to these, it's been a blast making them.
I've learned a lot from it, and I've really managed to improve a lot of things I didn't know I needed to.

I'll probably take a break from Sly 1 music stuff for a decent while, though if custom levels become a thing you can bet I'll make songs for a few. Until then I'll be working on some original projects. Not sure when they'll be done, but I'll work on them as much as I can!

EDIT:
I'm sad to say that Ashif Hakik has passed away. He was an inspiration to me and an awesome person to talk to. He answered all of my questions, gave me advice, and even listened to my Remasters/Remixes. His passing hit me like an anvil to the chest, but I will never forget him or his music. As long as I live I will make sure Sly 1's soundtrack and its history will never die.
Thanks for the memories Ash, thanks for everything. I'm glad I could make something you liked, and I hope you're in a better place now.
