Here's a full in depth van tour of my VW Caddy Maxi Micro Campervan. I did the majority of the van build myself but did have some help from family members with some of the woodwork, fitting the solar panel and flooring etc. It took me around 3 months to finish from June 2021 to September 2021 and the cost was around £4000 give or take. The van is fully capable of going off grid for at least 5 days depending on usage of the water and toilet, this was a must as I prefer not to be on campsites since I like my peace and quiet away from the crowds. I think the VW Caddy Maxis definitely make such a great micro camper they have plenty of storage and space in the back as well as being great to drive since there very car like. My campervan isn't perfect by any means theres plenty of changes I would make if I could go back and redo it but I'm happy with the result and it allows me to see places I would never have been able see otherwise. At the end of the day that's what van life is about, exploring new places, going on adventures and getting outside your comfort zone.
