Turbine power was quite the fascination for car companies in the 1960s. Chrysler had its Turbine car, and Ford had Big Red.

While a wide array of prototypes were built, easily the most distinguished was the futuristic-looking "Big Red" semi-truck. It featured a massive turbine engine, massive cab, and an array of features that wouldn't be out of place in a modern truck, such as room for reclined seating, a TV and small oven (which today would probably be a microwave). #trucks #turbine #retro #ford #concept
