How to create the post-apocalyptic world of "Fallout": FMX Q&A Time with Andrea Knoll

Emmy-nominated Producer and VFX Producer Andrea Knoll has been pushing boundaries in the entertainment industry for the past 20 years. At FMX 2024 she made two conference appearances. In her presentation “The Intricate Process of Producing Visual Effects for Television Series” she discussed her approach to effectively producing high-end visual effects - from selecting a project to early steps of pre-production through final delivery. Andrea Knoll was also part of the visual effects team that created the post-apocalyptic world in the Amazon series “Fallout”, sharing the FMX stage with Jay Worth and Andreas Giesen.

Andrea Knoll has been Emmy nominated for her work on the anthology series “Tales from the Loop” and seasons 2 and 3 of the Netflix series Stranger Things. She also was in charge of several projects at Sony Pictures Animation, including the Oscar-winning “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”.
