Chris from Bow River Troutfitters ties an incredibly effective pattern that shouldn't work as well as it does. The City Worker is popular here in Calgary on the Bow River as a stonefly pattern that can be dead drifted, twitched, or skated when the stones are hatching. It also makes an excellent late season hopper pattern. This is one fly where we don't recommend changing colours or materials too much. Stick to the tried and true pattern, and it works wonders.
