Chandan shares his mother's dreams and hopes to see him take a career in policing but he following up his passion to choose another profession to shoulder responsibilities of finance in a family that ha four siblings including him.

From a small village in Vaishali, Bihar to the national spotlight as Vikas in Panchayat, Chandan recounts his journey through IIMC, theatre, and rejection — including a moment when a top media editor turned him down for a job, only to later meet him at an airport.

He speaks emotionally about his only relationship, a long-distance girlfriend and humorously opens up about the guilt that followed a scholarship daaru party in Delhi:
"Raat ko daaru, subah yoga… lagta hai ganda."
