This heifer was having trouble delivering her little bull calf. The calf was coming the right direction, but he kept diving his head off to his right every time the cocky (farmer) kept trying to help deliver him. I put a head snare on the calf, lined the head up, and then we kept a wee bit of tension on it while we assisted the heifer by pulling on the calves feet whenever she pushed. Then... and really really importantly, once the calf’s head had cleared the vulva, we rotated the head and chest 90 degrees to prevent hillock. Presto Bango! Now they are both out in the paddock together! Winning!
