One Lowering is featured, at the very unique crossing in Woburn Sands, south east of Milton Keynes. As of November 2024, this is a rare example of a crossing on the mainlines that retains halogen, bulb-type warning lights, but this railway line - the Marston Vale Line - retains just over half of them, with 9 Crossings on this line having halogen lights! The entire railway line here is also one large meme, known for the large amount of service cancellations and crossing faults, as well as no trains at all on Sundays

The crossing was renewed in 2004, following the resignalling of this line, making this current setup around 20 years old now! The previous setup of this crossing was the older halogen warning lights, as well as British Rail Western Region Barriers. There used to be a signal box here, but it's clearly been demolished and almost no remains of its existence. That's when CCTV was installed and it was converted to this state, now monitored at the Marston Vale Line Signalling Centre at Ridgmont Station

There are five halogen warning lights here, two of which are, again, rare for having light cameras on them. Light Cameras are generally seen on 1st Generation Obstacle Detection Crossings, but due to the extreme business of this road, the YO and ZN Wigwags have Light Cameras, probably among the only halogen crossing to now have them! All the barriers were installed in 2012, but the YN Barrier has a new arm, due to a strike in May 2024 (Friday 3rd May, to be precise)

A London Northwestern Railway Service is featured, arriving into Woburn Sands Station. As Rememberance Day was near (when this video was filmed), the Class 150 had a Poppy on it. I hope you enjoy this video of this gem of a crossing!

Timestamps are here for trains:
