Ending and payback for the greed of the characters in the play. My take in the character was quite dark. Much of the press mentioned this but I played him with the truth that I felt when I inhabited him every night. He enters into the trickery and con with delight and likes the fact that he feels he is shrewder than these more noble blooded and better positioned people around him. I felt that he wasn't sure how far he would go until opportunities arose. So in my head I never set out to stitch my master Volpone up. However things change and my Mosca got cocky!
