My new 28 inch Monoprice Monolith speaker stands have arrived!
In this video I unbox, assemble, mass load them with sand and install them in my system.
The new stands are 71.12cm (28 inches) tall, 73.66cm (29 inches) with the floor spikes installed.
Mass loaded they weigh in at 21.2kg (41.8lb) each, empty they weigh only 9.6kg (18.96lb)
The new stands are replacing some very wobbly single column stands I had been using.
