NEURON : How Signal Propagates through it (Action Potential)

In this Biology video in Hindi for Class 10 we explained how electrical signal is created and propagated through a neuron. This is a topic from the chapter - 'Control and Coordination' of Biology.

Neuron is an electrically excitable cell that communicates with other cells via specialized connections called synapses. The neuron is the main component of nervous tissue in all animals except sponges and placozoa. Non-animals like plants and fungi do not have nerve cells.

Signal is created in neuron via ion channels and sodium as well as potassium ion are responsible for the signal propagation.
