"Can You Feel the Love Tonight" (RARE VERSION!)

Here's a real treat for you guys; a rarely-heard version of the classic romantic love song from Disney's modern masterpiece "The Lion King." This version of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" uses the lyrics of the Elton John version, but is performed by different singers instead of Elton John (UPDATE: It's Andrea Robinson and Arnold McCuller.) It also starts off sounding similar to the version that was performed in the middle of the movie (when Simba and Nala fall in love), and then halfway through it then sounds like the Elton John version a bit. In terms of style, it's also very similar to the early demo version of the song recorded for the film (it briefly shows up on the film trailer seen on the 1994 "The Fox and the Hound" VHS), but using the Elton John version's lyrics.

This was so far only heard on the 1995 Disney Sing-Along Songs VHS, "Colors of the Wind." It's possible this version was used due to rights with Elton John or something. It has not shown up on any albums or anywhere else. A shame really; I think this version sounds a lot better!
