BANJARMASIN - Exploring Lok Baintan & Riam Kanan, South Kalimantan

In todays video I go exploring in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan and its surrounding gems, the Lok Baintain Flotaing Market and Riam Kanan Reservoir. Also known as the Raja Anpat of Kalimantan.

Starting out from Central Kalimantan I ride to the border between Central and South Kalimantan, where a local motorcycle community is waiting for me. Here I try the local alcohol before riding with the Combo Community to Hotel Aston Banua in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan.

On the first day of exploring, we visit the hundreds of years old, Lok Baintan Floating market, where all kinds of good are sold from the Martapura River.

On the second day of exploring, we visit the beautiful Riam Kanan Reservoir, with views all over the many islands. From the top of the mountain to swimming in the artificial lake.

A true incredible experience in beautiful South Kalimantan 🇮🇩
