To fix the 0x80070422 Error that appears when you Update Windows 10 , follow these simple methods:
Open the services in your system – Locate for the following three services and make sure that all of them are running automatically:
1 - Windows Event Collector
2 - Windows Event Log
3 - Windows Update
Open each of them – change their startup type as ‘Automatic’ – Click on ‘Apply’ – ‘Start’ – ‘OK’ .
Now try to update once again. Your problem should be fixed..!!
