In today's video we will be showing you the preparation of Kurrakkan Thalapa ( Finger Millet Porridge).

Millet is a very common ingredient in traditional Sri Lankan cooking. It is used as a main dish in many settings and is a very nutritious substitute for rice. The eating of Thalapa involves preparing gravy on the side to eat with the porridge as a curry. In our previous video, we showed you how to prepare a work camp gravy (Waadi hodda), and this is he perfect complement to it.
