Lessons from New York Times & Stanford: Glenn Kramon

Описание к видео Lessons from New York Times & Stanford: Glenn Kramon

In this episode, I speak with Stanford Lecturer, Glenn Kramon. Glenn was an editor at the New York Times for 37 years and now teaches a flagship class at Stanford Business School called Winning Writing — students say it’s one of their most useful and favorite classes at Stanford. Glenn shares his tips on how to become a one in a million writer. Glenn’s career story is fascinating. He was admitted to Stanford for his MBA program in the 70s and dropped out after 3 days to pursue his journalism career. He shares his decision and how he has no regrets. He has such an interesting perspective on life and the long horizon of our careers and I’m so excited to share his story with you.

In this episode, I experienced some video technical difficulties in the middle of the podcast which I didn’t realize until after the recording. I would recommend listening to this episode rather than watching the full video due to the frame moving in and out of focus. Truthfully, I was going back and forth on whether to even publish this episode because of the poor video quality, but Glenn has such thoughtful insights, I definitely wanted to get this out there for people to learn from. Thanks for your patience and I will try to do better because this video and sound is not up to my quality bar, yet Glenn’s advice is spectacular. I hope you enjoy this episode.
