LEARN TAHITIAN DANCE ONLINE 2021 | Kanani Lokelani Workshops

Learn Tahitian Dance With Kanani Asuega. She runs virtual classes via zoom for students from around the world! For those who may not know, Kanani is a Polynesian Dancer from Southern California. She is Samoan and Hawaiian and has been dancing all her life. Beginning in her parents studio, Lokelani's Rhythm of the Islands, and now on her own running 'Ori Tahiti Workshops around the world as well as online. Kanani is a 12 time Overall Winning Competition dancer and holds the title of 2019 'Ori Tahiti World Champion.

Kanani's goal is to teach and train quality dancers who fully understand the importance of correct movement and cultural understandings. Being Polynesian herself, Kanani makes sure to include Polynesian cultural teachings. Her classes are filled with hard work, technique break downs, and knowledge behind the ways of thinking and history of Polynesia.
