Описание к видео Rise of the Deliverance Map 3: Flight from the Ruins in 12 Turns

Remember how I liked the first two maps? Well map 3 is terrible. There is genuinely no fun to be had here. Clair and Mathilda must run through this long corridor of enemies and escape at the bottom of the map. Unfortunately, because you control Clair and Mathilda (and ONLY these two units), they're pretty frail and can't take many hits. Clair is 3HKOd by the bonewalkers and 2HKOd by the arcanists, while Mathilda doesn't fare much better.

Now, while the arcanists do hit hard, I should mention the gimmick of this map. Clair found this fancy ring that gives +40 res, effectively negating magic when held. And the arcanists all have 1 defense so Clair can actually damage them without holding Mathilda's blessed lance. So you're expected to have one person chip with the ring and the other finish them off. The problem is that there's all these other enemies in the way such that trying to go fast in this map is basically an exercise in how many blessed lance crits and mire dodges you want to rig. And because of the way the AI works, the arcanists won't actually target whoever is holding the ring unless they're the only person in range, meaning you'd have to slowly bait them out.

To add onto all of this, there is no food in this map, unlike the other DLC maps, so the only source of healing is either the blessed lance or the heal tiles. Combined with, again, only having two very frail units, this map is pretty slow and not fun to play. Suffice to say, I did not care too much about this clear while doing it. You could easily clear this map more quickly, but I am not interested in trying because of how much I'd have to rig crits and dodges, so I'm content with leaving it at 12 turns.
