After a successful career as an artist in her right, Shirley Polovy decided to help others do the same. She now acts as a wise adviser, trusted teacher and counselor to artists across the United States through her Artcoaching programs.
Artcoaching is a combination of mentor/agent, where Shirley creates a plan with an artist for results-oriented personal development using strategic planning to assist the artist with their projects, accountability and goals.

Projects vary by artist, with focus on:

• Business Challenges (Sales, Value of Artwork, Promotion, Marketing)
• Actualizing Full-Potential of the Artist (Practices, Staying Inspired and Motivated, Working in Series, Assessing Work)
• Environment (Support Systems, People and Space)

Background:

Shirley began her career as a fine artist working in watercolor, oils, acrylics and collage. Her works have been shown in the galleries of Carmel-by-the-Sea and San Francisco. Her work is featured in a number of prominent collections, such as those of Anthony White, Carol Merthen, and Toyo Steel Co., and has been shown in acclaimed locations, including Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Shirley also designed a "Color Experience", a lively workshop for corporate clients including AT&T, American Express, Chevron, Pfizer and more.
