This video was filmed the 3rd week of May 2024 in the prefecture of Nagano. On the plateaux themselves, it is still rather cold and nearly no flowers have appeared yet. However, summer birds and butterflies are there either on the plateaux ( altitude varies, but in this case it is around 1300 - 1350m ) or below, near the larches line. The view of the passing clouds and the snow capped mountains completes the singing of the birds. A few birds are special: the Siberian stonechat, the masked Bunting and particularly the Japanese Robin always difficult to find.
