Patti Labelle - Fun Times with Lady Marmalade (Aug 10, 2024 - Stars of the Desert Arena, Primm, NV)

Patti Labelle brought up several men from the audience (and one drag look-a-like) to join her on her classic hit, "Lady Marmalade." It was a hoot with several of those men having voices that record companies could have signed them on the spot. Of course, it was the drag queen, Jasmine, who stole the show, wearing the identical outfit that Patti Labelle was wearing and stealing her moves! Patti loved it! I added a prelude of an earlier portion of the concert when Jasmine came to the front and showed some love to her idol. And Patti just wanted her shoes! LOL. Great show. Patti showed a lot more energy on stage than I expected, due to several warnings from other fans who have seen her. She interacted with her fans and moved from one side of the stage to the other. She even kicked off her shoes, as she is known for. I have seen her several times before but always in short increments. There was the time when she was a guest on Good Morning America and I was in the audience...trying out her pie. Then there was the time when she performed a couple of songs at the 25th Stonewall anniversary (Angela Bofill and Cyndi Lauper were also there). But this was the first full Patti Labelle concert I had attended. I'm glad I went.
