Painting Impressionistic Figures in Watercolor

Описание к видео Painting Impressionistic Figures in Watercolor

One of the things that can help us paint believable figures in watercolor is to paint them in a method I call “melted figures.” The idea is to paint the figure almost all in one go at the beginning, keeping it fluid with no hard edges. This helps it have a soft, impressionistic appearance. While it is still wet, the darks are floated in so as not to create too many hard-edged stopping points. In this video I will demonstrate painting a figure in this way.
