Mickey Gilley is cousin to rocker Jerry Lee Lewis. Mickey played so many Honkytonks in the 1960's that he developed the yen to own one. In 1970 he opened Gilley's Club in Pasadena, Texas & 10 years later the bar leaped to cultural prominence as the model for blockbuster John Travolta/Debra Winger film "Urban Cowboy".
