if you are a non-EU/EEA and non-Swiss citizen and you wish to stay in Ireland for any reason for longer than 90 days, you must apply for immigration permission, All non-Irish nationals, who are not citizens of the EU/EEA or Switzerland, must register in person with the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB CARD) after arrival and after completion of registration at your third level institution. The GNIB will issue you with a residence permit/GNIB card. The cost is 300 euro + VAT.
