Our expert panelists from Ontario Tech University, other universities and health care institutions examined possible solutions to the opioid crisis in North America, which has resulted in thousands of premature deaths in the past decade. What can be done to stem this tide of human destruction? What role can governments (municipal, provincial, and federal), public service agencies, and academia play? How can we change public perceptions about the nature of the problem? This virtual event was co-hosted by the Faculties of Health Sciences and Social Science and Humanities at Ontario Tech University.
