Focus Stacking In Affinity Photo

Описание к видео Focus Stacking In Affinity Photo

Focus Stacking is a powerful photographic technique for increasing the depth of field in an image. It involves using multiple images with different focus points and then merging them into a single photograph. In this video, I demonstrate how to focus stack three images using Affinity Photo’s Focus Merge feature.

The images I used in this video were shot with identical settings and the camera on a tripod. All that’s changed is where the focus point was placed in each. I then used Affinity Photo’s Focus Merge to produce a single image with front-to-back depth of field.

When the focus stacking process was complete, I used the Affinity Photo Clone Brush to quickly repair two problem areas. The Focus Merge feature is an elegant solution for photographers wanting to overcome issues with depth of field whilst shooting at the best aperture for lens sharpness.
