British Army Replace AS90, New Artillery System Is Coming

The British Army will get contemporary artillery platforms, the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain confirmed on Thursday, to replace those that were provided to Ukraine.
The Army will replace the AS90 self-propelled howitzers that were given to Ukraine with modern "Archer" heavy artillery pieces, according to a press release from the Ministry of Defense.
The news release states that the first 14 Archer artillery systems will pass ownership to the British Army this month and be fully operational by April of the following year, serving as a temporary substitute for the 32 AS90 artillery systems the UK gave to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
