Only 20 percent of schools in Nepal are privately owned but they almost control the whole Nepali Education system. A study was conducted in 2015 which showed that characteristics of private schools looked similar to cartels. Some of the schools charge unto 10 times the permitted fees from students. But how does it affect us? Should we care? This is the dark reality of private school cartel in Nepal.
