Upgrading the Ford power stroke 6.0 starter to the 6.7 starter "mod".

Today was a maintenance day. Wanted to clean and check some sensors which I found were cruddy. The intake air temp sensor in the manifold, the mass air flow sensor in the cold air intake, the exhaust back pressure sensor and map sensor hose. Hopefully this helps or resolves what seems like slow acceleration response but no driveability issues.


The only thing you need besides the 6.7 starter is 1 flanged M8-1.25 by 40mm bolt and 1 8mm ID 12mm OD and 15mm long bushing. The bolt/bushing goes in the bottom location and fits perfectly.

Starter is used was from AutoZone. 2017 F250 4x4 6.7 V8 power stroke Diesel
