Sealed subs disagree with me, otherwise the SB-4000 would certainly make "The List" as well. If you enjoy sealed subs, the SB-4000's would do a fine job of imitating a ported sub when it comes to "depth of presentation".

The more power you can afford with dual subs on "The List", the better the bass will be. Within the SVS line at least, an increase in power is an increase in realism. I expect the PB-4000 to be commensurate with it's power increase, delivering more Impact and headroom than the once previous SVS flagship, which used to be the PB-13 Ultra before the PB-16 Ultra stole the top spot.

For context, it wasn't that long ago when the PB-13 Ultra was mentioned in hushed tones, with it's legendary home theater performance. The PB-4000 offers even more, adding the awesome app and front panel to the boost in performance.

I can't wait to hear these, though I will certainly miss the PB-16 Ultras!!

As for a potential projector, I'd like to find something under $650 if possible to keep the cost well under $1,000. It will probably only be fired up 2-3 times a week, so I don't need the best of the best. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
