To build a simple, lightweight quiet computer fan air purifier like in the video, I used 2 of the above linked Filtrete 12" x 24" filters, with the 6 computer fans which easily plug into the speed control. Cut sturdy cardboard or coroplast for the top, bottom and to fill the space below the fans. Use strong double stick tape, caulk or glue, and I'd also tape the outside edges. Pick it up by the top and bottom, or the filter sides, not the fan sides. A better idea is to build a wood frame, which I will do in a later video.

The trick with building the 4 filter air purifier is finding a fan that is quiet, preferably under 35 decibels, blows a good amount of air, and can be mounted pointing up in a hole in a sheet of plywood or corrugated plastic. Many fans have controls on the back, which would then be inside the filter. So ideally find a fan with controls on the front or a remote control. Then figure a way to attach the fan with glue, silicone caulk or tape that will last and also look nice.
