Ranking Genesis EP (Fairlane)

on April 5, Jack Frost.. sorry, Fairlane graced us with his ‘Genesis’ EP, a 5-track EP taking inspiration from types of emo-rock in both the vocal performances and the guitar inclusions. overall, this EP fell a little bit flat. each of the 5 vocal performances were good, but i definitely preferred some over others. i think it should also be mentioned that the tracks without heavy drops were my preferred ones in this EP, but of course that all boils down to personal preference! only one playlist add unfortunately, but i’d be down to have more of Fairlane on the label in future as this style isn’t completely out of the question for me.

every score and placement in this video is my opinion and shouldn’t be taken as 100% truth- if you disagree with me, that’s okay! i can’t enjoy everything sadly, and some tracks have ranked lower than others but please don’t flame me in the comments for it. also, if a song you dislike has a high score please do NOT go around bashing me for the opinion- it’s just a youtube video. also, i do not tolerate disrespect towards artists in my comments- i want to encourage a supportive community rather than a toxic one!
