NATO Airbone Warning Control System Boeing E-3A Sentry Smoky Takeoff at NATO Tiger Meet 2025!

The E-3A, particularly the NATO version, is powered by four Pratt & Whitney TF33-PW-100A low-bypass turbofan engines, first introduced in the late 1950s. The engines enable a maximum speed of 853 kilometers (530 miles ) per hour, a service ceiling of up to 12,192 meters (40,000 feet), and a range of 4,603 miles/7,408 kilometers (4,000 nautical miles). The aircraft can remain airborne for about eight hours, with endurance extended through aerial refueling. The TF33 Engines has proven durable and continues to power US and NATO aircraft such as the B-52 Stratofortress bomber and RC-135 reconnaissance plane.

NTM25 (NATO Tiger Meet 2025) is one of NATO’s largest and most prestigious air exercises. Hosted at BA11 in Beja, this year's event brings together 19 flying squadrons from 12 partner nations—all units that feature a "tiger," "jaguar," or other big cat on their squadron emblem.

With over 80 aircraft and about 1,700 military personnel participating, the main objective of the NTM25 is to strengthen bonds and promote international cooperation in the defense and technological domains. The incredible "Tiger" special paint schemes were the highlight of the day and a delight for every aviation enthusiast present!
