Recent patient from MBC shares her experience. Read her own words: "Hi, my name is Jane. I am a patient from MBC. I had my surgical procedure done on April 21st. I was very anxious, nervous at first and from the time I made my first contact with counselor in United States, absolutely No problem. Everything is worked out, everything is taken into consideration. All my questions were answered. Cindy was the person I spoke with. She answered my questions. She told me to think about it any questions I had for her and we just had a dialogue going on whole time. Filled out my questionnaires. The doctor evaluated my information. So I flew into San Diego. Someone was there to pick me up. Once we got into the minivan, we came directly to the hotel. I stayed at the Marriott. Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful, Clean. The people at the hotel are helpful. I had absolutely no questions. It's really far beyond my expectations. As far as I thought I am going to have. The rooms are great. The room service is wonderful. Absolutely no concerns. I was able to sleep comfortably. They gave me medications. That the stomach should not get upset. At day two, at the hospital we got medical clearance from doctor and my doctor is wonderful. I spoke with him preoperatively, the next day after the surgery, upon discharge. Everything was fine. I could go back to the hotel to recover. He insisted if I had any problems, any concerns, any worries what so ever to know notify the office. I can email, Text him. He said he checks them often. And nice thing about that he recommended to connect with their recommended nutritionist who would available to all the patients for six weeks postoperatively probably beyond that if necessary. I had a gastric sleeve done. And today I feel absolutely wonderful. I am not having any pain. I got to walk half a mile this morning to Walmart. I walked and came back. Everything is like I said earlier, everything is just as they said. And I hope that when I get back home the people that I know that are thinking about this procedure done, I would recommend them MBC. They have a team of physicians, nurses, counselors, nutritionists, anesthesiologists and internal medicine. People that work with them. Not to mention the auxiliaries they have, that people are taking you from the airport the people that are taking you around the city if you need to get anything. You don't have to worry about anything. And the other thing is everything is absolutely spotless, clean. It's healthy and sanitary and I just hope that if you are thinking about doing this that you CALL. You know this to prove and you ask to see to see what it is you need to do have your surgery. They have your questions answered so that you feel comfortable and I hope that whomever here is. I hope you have a wonderful experience and it is excited and as happy as I am postoperative.
