Both of these speakers are very good value for money propositions, but both come with different features and different compromises to the sound quality. R1010BT has Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, less power and less available volume. R1280T, instead of Bluetooth has remote control and because of that will be a better choice for a TV speakers replacement or bedroom system (more available headroom is a plus as well in those situations). In terms of sound quality they both sound quite similar, but I would give a nod to R1010BT for more natural, if a bit darker, midrange and to a R1280T for better bass response, more available headroom and more spacious sounds. If sound quality was the only criteria than R1280T would be my choice here. Which one would You choose? Let me know in the comments below! Cheers!
