BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 1980's
12.10 LONDON WATERLOO to SALISBURY
CAB VIEW ON BOARD LOCOMOTIVE 33101
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of the cab view on board the 12.10 London Waterloo to Salisbury courtesy of kind invitation by the late driver Barry Foster from Woking. 33101 was the traction + 4 TC stock, beware the ride upon these locomotives were quite bumpy as on most locos, so to anchor the camera stably was pretty awkward at higher speeds...(Above 30 MPH) Ha..Ha...I do hope the bumps and knocks do not spoil your trip and I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. I was not too sure whether to edit this video or just show the entire journey unedited (apart from the camera battery change between Andover and Salisbury) due to the rough ride but feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
