SHOREFISHING HAWAI'I: DA FISHDROPPAH HANAPA'A! 🎣🐟🤙🏽

Howzit Gang, mahalos to everybody who offered prayers and condolences for my Grandma Catherine "Popolady" Llanos. She was the greatest person I've ever known in my life--not just saying that--fo real kine. My spiritual, emotional, moral and original fishing mentor and ROCK of my ohana has gone on to a better place. She will be missed by many....
So the video is from a summer session with Broheim A.K.A. DA FISHDROPPAH---We went to a familiar spot, but I wanted to try a different section which is more rocky, and has more white water action, hoping for some moi. Got the early jump, but not much action---weather was inclement as the rain and wind was whipping. Had a brutal fight---not the kind I wanted. Then about mid-morning we moved down to our regular spot. We started getting strikes right away, also not necessarily the kind of we wanted, but action is action. Then right around lunch time da fishdroppah gets a strike--Bruddah walks the fight down the beach and lands the fish he had been targeting ever since he came back from the mainland. I throw in my fishcam a little later, and you get to see how my dunking "double hook with a quarter size float and big ika leg" rig does in the water. My fishcam line gets stuck on the reef when trying to retrieve it so then I gotta jump in the murk and go dive for it. Good fun dat kine....NOT!!!
