To search and highlight in Excel
you can use the following methods:

Find and replace

To find text or numbers in a worksheet, you can:

Press Ctrl+F or go to Home Find & Select Find 

Type the text or numbers you want to find in Find what 

Select Find All to search for all occurrences 

Highlight text

To highlight text, you can:

Use the arrow keys to navigate to the beginning of the text 

Hold down the Shift key and use the arrows to select the text 

Alternatively
you can press Alt and double-click the h key to open the highlight menu 

Highlight cells

To highlight cells, you can:

Press F2 to edit the cell 

Use the arrow keys to position the insertion point 

Press Shift+Arrow key to select the contents 

Click the color you want to use under Theme Colors or Standard Colors 

Conditional formatting

To highlight information based on cell values, you can use conditional formatting to create rules. For example, you can tie cell colors to cell values. 

Highlight matches

To compare two lists and highlight matches, you can:

Select both columns of data to compare 

Go to the Home tab, then the Styles grouping 

Under the Conditional Formatting drop-down, choose Highlight Cells Rules, then Duplicate Values 

Select the colors you want and click OK
