Not too far is KAHO and Kibithu, the first village of India and also one of the Easternmost villages of India, which is the home to the critically endangered Meyor Tribe that was split after the war as many Meyors got left across the border in China

Nearest airport Dibrugarh to Walong - 400kms (only by road)
Nearest Railway station Tinsukia to Walong - 350 kms (only by road)
Other route is via Tezu (Only by road)
Infrequent buses and shared vehicles are availble
