How to / Tutorial: 'Universal Chamber' for Taekwon-Do Kicking

In this video Carl van Roon explores the advantages of utilising a 'universal chamber' when kicking, particularly off the lead leg. The basic alignment and posture is discussed first before delving into a breakdown of how to throw 4 main kicks from the universal chamber position including: side kick, lead leg turning kick, hook kick and high turning kick. The efficiency and deception advantage of using this position is discussed, with emphasis on how to bypass the opponent's defence and take advantage of operating at long-range. Several other options are also explored towards the end of the video including 'lifting and shifting' into the kick (sliding) and throwing consecutive kicks (multiple kicks without putting the leg back down into a stance between kicks).
