How to Tell if a Pot is Linear or Logarithmic - B Linear/A Audio Taper Potentiometer

In this tutorial I show you how to tell the difference between the different types of potentiometers, or pots as we call them. Linear pots are called "B" and audio pots are called A or audio taper pot, but sometimes text can be unknown or hard to see so I also show you how to test it with a Ohm resistor measurement instrument too, so that you can make sure you have the right potentiometer for the project and are able to get the right one for your circuit or guitar mods, amplifiers or whatever you are doing!
