When searching for titles on the BBFC's website, you can check a box called "Show adult content (this may include explicit and/or offensive titles)", and doing so would show titles with the extremely rare R18 certificate.

But this filter can also show any adult genre titles that are simply rated 18, as the filter is actually for adult titles rather than just R18. Sometimes even rejected works (portrayed by an N/A certificate) can be filtered too if it's classed as adult.

However, it seems that even a small number of 15 rated works can get filtered too, I assume it's because it checks if the genre is "Adult" and if it is, then it's instantly filtered out by default.
