Fast BNSF & UP Freight Trains along the BNSF Needles Sub - Military Train & Endless Action!

Описание к видео Fast BNSF & UP Freight Trains along the BNSF Needles Sub - Military Train & Endless Action!

Back in September, I went out to the BNSF Needles Sub for some freight train action. Busy day on the line from Union Pacific and BNSF, considering it was a Sunday! It's been nearly a year and a half since I last visited the Needles Sub and Barstow area, so it was great to be back! Explored the line between Daggett and Ludlow, I hope to go further east along the line in the near future. Didn't catch any foreign power, however, caught some awesome trains in place of that! These freight trains fly along the tracks, thanks to the mostly straight and barren landscape in this remote region!

Started off early in the morning in Daggett, where the UP Cima Sub and BNSF Needles Sub split off in the own directions. Caught some decent action in the morning from BNSF, then something very unique was backing up towards the Cima Sub. It was a BNSF military train, backing up onto the UP Cima Sub, heading towards Yermo and the Marine Corps base there. Nice way to start off the day, that's for sure!

I moved between West Daggett and "Central" Daggett throughout the morning, catching non stop BNSF and UP trains in both places. Later that morning, went more east towards Newberry Springs. Caught a few trains there, and boy do they fly past you at track speed!

The easternmost point I visited was just to the East of Ludlow, at the Historic Route 66 crossing. There were some switch problems down the line at Ash Hill, which caused some temporary backup along the line. This provided a unique train race at one point, with 2 EB's slowly racing each other on the line. Overall, fun day full of great action along the Southern Transcon!

Thanks for Watching! Watch in HD, 60 FPS!
